Revealing Curiosities: Collected Tales both Peculiar and Grim
Revealing Curiosities: Collected Tales both Peculiar and Grim is my new anthology of short tales, available now from Smashwords.
The book is available in epub, pdf, Kindle and other electronic formats for all of your digital reading needs.
This anthology is a long time in the coming and a long time in the making. Visitors to the previous incarnation of this blog may remember a few short stories I had posted there. These, Present Historical Tense and Soul Catcher had a do over and joined some friends to make up the book.
The cover was adapted from an image by Rolffimages called, Mans Reveal. I’d like to thank (and here’s the Oscar’s part of the blog post) my always fantastic sister for her input and suggestions, helping me to get it looking just right. I adore that picture, there’s so much going on in it, as I was working with I kept finding new little bits of amazement. The most marvelous thing, I thought, was that after searching for what seemed like forever for the right image by the right artist, I managed to find one that was made exactly for my stories. Perfect. Thanks Rolffimages.
So, I’m feeling pretty darn ecstatic about the whole thing right now. Sure, it’s no Nobel Prize (just yet) but it’s is an awesome feeling of accomplishment. Something I wanted to do, I did. Something I’ve been working on for ages, is complete. This is an offering of my best work, my best effort and I hope you enjoy it.
Fold back the layers and reveal the curiosities beneath with this collection of tales
that will engage your imagination, challenge your spirit and lead you into dark and strange worlds.
In these five stories, wander through peculiar places where
dreams have no borders, action follows consequence, souls are a prize to be won and your
very self is a threat to your reality.
Return to the real world only if you can.
