Probably Not the Vivid Avengers You’re Looking For
I’ve just noticed that an old article I put on Vivid Scribe when the first trailer for The Avengers came out has just ranked in the most popular posts gadget on the Vivid Scribe homepage.

Why is this so hilarious?
A few weeks ago I noticed a huge surge in traffic from Google searches for “vivid avengers.” Weird, thought I. So I did the same Google search. And laughed!
Vivid Video, a leading producer of, ahem… shall we say “adult entertainment” has just released a parody of the latest Avengers film. As such, my little website, my sweet little innocent and totally porn free website, and the trailer for The Avengers it hosts has been bombarded by people looking for something quite different indeed.
So, people aren’t interested in what I have to say about The Avengers. Oh well, I’m still amused, and it makes my web traffic analysis look awesome!
And a confession…. when I was brainstorming titles for the website that became Vivid Scribe, I did find that Vivid Video was a big deal in Google for the keyword “Vivid.” I’m not prudish enough to care about that connection and I did joke that maybe it would help my web ranking. Never did I imagine I could out Google them.
Still laughing.
And am interested to see how many hits this post attracts from people looking for Avengers porn.
